Got Milk?

Antonio was in the kitchen making something to eat and the milk was on the counter. AJ kept reaching for the milk so I set him on the counter. He grabbed the milk jug and the lid to his bottle. It was hilarious because it's like he knew it was milk and he couldn't figure out how to get it into his bottle. We had to break it to him that it was 'big boy' milk and that he drinks special milk. Never a dull moment with this kid!

Damien's 3rd Birthday Party

March 19, 2010 - Tried prunes again today and it was a success!!

March 13, 2010 - Today we tried giving AJ some prunes. Not too sure how he feels about them yet. I think we'll try again in a few days.

A Beautiful Day in the Park

It has been abnormally nice out here in Washington, so we decided it was the perfect day to have a picnic in the park with AJ. Although it was gorgeous out, it was quite chilly when the wind blew. Being the first-time parents that we are, we were ill-prepared for the crisp air so the adventure was shorter than we would have liked. It was still nice to get out of the house, no matter how short the trip!

Some very good friends of ours work at/own a delicious Mexican Restaurant called El Sarape. We love the food and the company, so we usually meet up and eat there on Friday nights. This is just one of our many El Sarape adventures.

AJ kept reaching for daddy's glass, so we figured we would let him try to take a drink and that little cutie was a natural!

After getting home from the restaurant, AJ looked so wore out. Apparently it's a lot of work drinking from a real glass!!
